How do I schedule the teams?

We generally prefer to give every team a specific time.  Avoid giving a general guideline such as "come after your game" which can lead to huge bunch ups of teams followed by big lulls.  To calculate the time interval between teams, simply take the total number of minutes that you have available to do the photography and divide by the number of teams.  For example:  if you want to do the photography in 4 hours, you will have 240 minutes to work with.  If you have 24 teams, you would schedule one team every 10 minutes.

Here are some pointers on scheduling:

1. If possible give t-ball or instructional age kids an extra 5 minutes per team or intersperse them throughout the day.  Try to avoid having all the t-ball or instructional teams come all at once as they take longer to photograph.

2. Tell teams to be ready 10 minutes before their scheduled time. If they really are ready early, we can usually get them done early, but generally this recommendation to be early is what gets them there on time.

3. Leave a couple of open time slots during the day.  These can be used as small breaks or to allow teams to move their scheduled time without jamming up another team's time.
